6/12/2008
Assault/ A&B:
Caller reports his grandson was assaulted in front of the Evans School by a group of youths. He was assaulted a second time a little while later on Denver Street by W/M unknown.

Lost Property: Female reports that while shopping at Kohl’s she left her pocketbook in the women’s dressing room. When she returned to retrieve it the pocketbook was gone. She inquired it if had been turned in or if there was a video surveillance of the areas, but the employees were not helpful. Officer contacted Kohl’s to have video reviewed and learned that the missing property had been located.

Suspicious Person: Female states a silver vehicle stopped in front of her house, one male exited ,walked up to the residence, knocked on the door and asked for a male party. When they were told he was not there, they said he owed them money and needed to pay it or they were going to kill him.

Shoplifting:
Loss Prevention at Kmart reports Gitza Nieves, of Roxbury, MA was detained for shoplifting.

6/14/2008
Officer Needs Assistance:
Tabu, Officers at Tabu assisting detail officers with clearing parking lot.

Protective Custody: Kowloon: Detail officer requests a unit to respond for a pc. Male transported to station. Richard Trainor, 48, from Ward St, Revere was arrested for drunkenness.

6/15/2008
Officer Needs Assistance:
Officers report they are off to Tabu to assist the detail officers with clearing the lot. They report no incidences.

Assist Citizen: Female from Foliage Dr, Saugus MA, states that at approximately 1:45 as she exited the Oasis she was attacked by three other women and has an ongoing dispute with them. Female had visible injuries to her head and face. At this time she has not seen a doctor but has been advised to do so and to seek a complaint.

Shoplifting: Macy’s Employee reports detaining a female for shoplifting.

Suspicious Activity: Caller reports three parties attempting to climb into a window using a ladder. Officers sent and report speaking to a party who has locked his keys in the second floor apartment. No police services needed.

Suspicious Activity: Caller reports someone was throwing eggs at her house on Denver Street. She thinks it was thrown by someone with a red sedan.

Suspicious Activity: Mrs.. Toto reports construction equipment parked on her street. Police report a driveway on Basswood Avenue is being paved and equipment is parked on Charnwood Rod but is not blocking the driveway of the call party.

6/16/2008:
Larceny
Officer reports a larceny of $2,500 of LaCoste Polo shirts from Macy’s. Suspect is an Asian male wearing a black jacket grey sweatshirt with white sneakers. Suspect fled in a grn minivan operated by a female. Partial plate of 8Y4. Suspect fled Route One South.

6/17/2008:
Suspicious Activity:
Continental, motor vehicle accident. Officer reports air bags have been deployed . They are speaking to Edward Blair, of Saugus. He was placed under arrest for OUI 2nd offense, drug possession, Class B. Blair was transported from the station to his residence.
